The mounting screws are retained using 4-40 brass captive inserts, preventing hardware loss during transport or field use — a small but crucial detail when you’re operating on a mountaintop, trail, or picnic table.
This is not a typical 3D-printed part. Each unit is printed in PETG-CF (carbon-fiber reinforced PETG) at 100% infill, producing a rigid, dimensionally reliable component designed to withstand real-world strain and temperature swings.
